Community Service: 9/6/2010

Welcome back everybody to another fun-filled week with The Community.  We’ve got a lot of great stuff coming your way this week.

Tomorrow I’m going to kick things off with a little review of Starcraft 2’s version of the incredibly popular Warcraft 3 Custom Map: Defense of the Ancients.  I’ll break the gametype down for those who haven’t played it, and try to offer a few tips for those just getting started.

On Tuesday TheElitist is going to throw down some words of wisdom for anybody looking to up their NCAA Football game, fresh off a victory at last night’s tournament in our campus bar.

Come Wednesday Clovenhoof will get us over the hump with a look at World of Warcraft Private Servers.

We’ll round out the week with a look at Cam’s most recent Magic concoction, a mono-black deck which might even be kind of relevant in the current T2 format, and on Friday the Thief will post something if he feels like it.

Sure to be a good week, can’t wait to read the submissions.

(P.S. Our WordPress “blog stats” page has indicated to me that we’re getting double-digit hits on almost every day we post.  If you’re one of those vast throngs of 10-20 readers who stumble by daily, and you see something here that interests you, feel free to COMMENT!  The writers WILL respond to you.  Or I will eat them.)
